Download and open it. Node.js is built in, so there's nothing else to set up by hand.
The setup screen installs Claude Code and opens the official sign-in in your browser. Approve it and you're done.

Yes, for personal use. Keen runs Anthropic's own Claude Code app on your computer, signed in with your account, which is the supported way to use your plan for your own tools. Keen never reads or forwards your login token.
On your computer, in a keen-projects folder. Each project is a normal Vite + React app with its own git history, so you can open it in any editor at any time.
Keen is free. AI usage comes out of the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already have, and publishing uses Cloudflare's free tier.
Keen isn't code-signed by Microsoft or Apple yet, so you'll see a one-time warning. Windows: click More info → Run anyway. Mac: drag Keen to Applications, then right-click Keen → Open → Open (on macOS 15+, use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway).
Click the Apple menu → About This Mac. If it says Chip: Apple M1/M2/M3/M4, download Apple Silicon. If it says Processor: Intel, download Intel.
